Tottenham are launching a bid for Crystal Palace winger Yannick Bolasie.

The Daily Star Sunday says Spurs have been chasing the Eagles winger all summer but to date have been unwilling to meet the £20million price tag.

And the fact Bolasie, 26, has been away on compassionate leave for the past week, following his father's death, has stopped significant negotiations taking place.

But Palace boss Alan Pardew, who wants to keep the DR Congo ace, fears the north Londoners will revive their interest before Tuesday's 6pm transfer deadline.
