Sunderland have joined the race to sign Panathinaikos winger Quincy Owusu-Abeyie.
The 27-year old Dutch-born Ghanaian has been on trial with Crystal Palace but Black Cats boss Paolo Di Canio is also showing considerable interest according to reports.
Quincy, who has been told he can leave Greek club Pana this summer, kicked off his career with Arsenal back in 2003 and has since spent time with Spartak Moscow, Celta Vigo, Birmingham City, Cardiff City, Portsmouth, Al-Sadd and Malaga.
