Blackburn Rovers manager Gary Bowyer insists Rudy Gestede will not leave the club unless they receive the right fee.
The 26-year old French-born Benin striker was the subject of a £3.5million bid from Crystal Palace recently but the Rovers turned it down as they feel it does not meet their £6m valuation of him.
Gestede has emerged on the Palace radar after scoring 12 goals in 23 Championship outings this season but at this point in time, he remains at Ewood Park according to Bowyer.
"There's no further developments as we speak, he goes into the squad for Saturday," he said ahead of the weekend's fourth round FA Cup clash with Swansea City.
"Unless anything changes before then he's focused on having an involvement against Swansea.
"The lad has conducted himself in a brilliant way as we expected.
"It's not his fault that people don't meet the valuation of him by our owners, all he can do is get ready for the game.
"The owners have a valuation on where the player sits and until that's met, he won't be going anywhere."
