Crystal Palace are taking action against West Brom boss Tony Pulis.
The Mail on Sunday says Palace have started proceedings to reclaim bonuses — believed to be about £1million — paid to former manager Pulis in 2013-14.
Palace claim the bonuses were dependent on the manager staying until the first competitive game of the following season — against Arsenal on August 16 — but he left two days earlier 'by mutual consent'.
The case will be heard next month by an independent tribunal set up under FA rules to avoid football disputes going to court, when it will be decided if Pulis should return the bonus, which was for keeping Palace in the Premier League in 2013-14.
It was due to be paid at the end of August 2014 but it was reportedly paid early at Pulis's request.
