Crystal Palace striker Alexander Sorloth is already off the mark for new club Gent.

Sorloth joined the Belgians on-loan and scored twice in the friendly win over Holstein Kiel.

After the 6-1 victory, he told VG: "It's really good. It's good to get started this way. It's nice that the teammates see that I can play football.

"I chose Gent because of (coach) Jess (Thorup). He got the best out of me in Denmark. When going for a six-month loan, it is nice to be sure that the coach knows what I stand for."
