Ajax defender Joel Veltman is attracting Premier League interest.

The Daily Express says new Crystal Palace boss Frank De Boer is set to go head to head with Tottenham for Veltman from his former club Ajax.

Veltman, 25, who is rated at around £10m only has another year to run on his contract and has been on Tottenham's radar for the whole of last season.

De Boer, who gave the Dutch international his debut for Ajax five years ago, is looking to add a more youthful look to his squad this season.

Veltman, who played right-back in the Europa League Final defeat to Manchester United at the end last season, is keen on moving to the Premier League.
