New Crystal Palace goalkeeper Vicente Guaita is delighted with his move from Getafe.

Guaita has joined Palace on a three-year contract.

Speaking to Palace TV, he said: “I had several options to come to the Premier League, and one of them was Palace, which was in London, a great city and a place where my family will be comfortable.

“I asked people back in Spain that have been in the Premier League before and they said that I shouldn't doubt it, that London was a great place and they encouraged me to join Crystal Palace, as it was a great team that I would really enjoy.

“I'm bringing the four years in Getafe with me as well as the other five in Valencia, and I want to keep going in that direction because in the end with hard work things end up going well. I'll keep working to hopefully achieve beautiful things with Crystal Palace."
