Crystal Palace set to sign QPR goalkeeper Rob Green

Crystal Palace are set to sign QPR goalkeeper Rob Green.

The Daily Mail says QPR are keen to offload the goalkeeper to remove him off their wage bill.

The former England goalkeeper is entitled to a new contract if he play 30 games this season.

Green has made 25 appearances so far this term, though he has not played since the New Year's Day defeat by Hull.

The signing of Green will provide added competition to Palace's goalkeeping positions.

The Eagles already have Wayne Hennessey, Julian Speroni and Alex McCarthy on their books.
