Crystal Palace are set to take Peter Odemwingie off West Bromwich Albion's hands.
The Daily Mail says Odemwingie is in line for a move to Crystal Palace when the emergency loan window opens on Thursday- just a week after the transfer deadline fiasco that scuppered a move to QPR.
West Brom's winger is set to make the switch until the end of the season with Palace boss Ian Holloway aiming to make his deal permanent in the summer.
Palace will have to pay an initial fee to West Brom for Odemwingie and then a further sum for his services if the south Londoners are promoted to the Premier League.
It will be a huge boost for Holloway to capture the Nigeria international as he looks to spend some of the £15m windfall from the sale of Wilfried Zaha to Manchester United.
