Crystal Palace's Jedinak turns attention to Socceroos

Mile Jedinak says he is focusing all of his attention on the Australian national team following the Championship season.

The 27-year old Crystal Palace midfielder had a consistent season with the Eagles, making 29 appearances in England's second tier, but he is now putting all of his energies into the Socceroos who will begin the fourth round of Asian qualifying for the 2014 World Cup next month with a friendly against Denmark.

"I'm really looking forward to the Socceroo games next month," Jedinak told au.fourfourtwo.com. "It has my full and undivided attention.

"It will be good to have the warm up in Denmark and get the boys together and see everyone, then it's two crunch games for this last qualifying stage.

"Oman away - we know how went there last time so we kind of know what to expect and then it's a big game in Brisbane, Japan at home.

"We all know what Japan can do and how they can play. For both of those games, we're going to have to be at our best to get the points.

"A lot has changed since the Asian Cup (when Australia lost 1-0 in the final in January 2011). For me personally, I don't feel like it is a revenge game. I'd rather just get the points and worry about that afterwards."
