Crystal Palace manager Ian Holloway has played down the likelihood of his club signing Peter Odemwingie on loan.
The West Bromwich Albion striker is set to be frozen out at The Hawthorns after attempting to cultivate a deadline day move to QPR with reports suggesting that Palace were set to swoop for a short-term deal.
But Holloway is not getting overly excited about the prospect, telling Sky Sports: "I haven't got a clue about that. Someone contacted the chairman.
"I was asked: Would I want him? I said yes.
"I don't really think that's a realistic target for us, personally."
