Barry Bannan suggests the Scotland national team has found solidarity under Gordon Strachan.
According to the Crystal Palace midfielder, the Scottish players have united as one off the pitch which has subsequently led to improved results on it since Strachan took the reins from Craig Levein in January.
"We are a close group and when I was at Aston Villa I spoke to some of the boys who went away with England. They said there were cliques there and they used to have their own tables at meals," he told the Daily Record.
"We are like a club team here the way we get on and there's a good spirit.
"It makes a difference because games now can be won with team spirit alone.
"We're all honest, hard-working players. You wouldn't look at any players and say they were big time. Everybody works hard for each other.
"It's the same anywhere - if you're not winning then it's not a happy place to be. But the way we've been playing in the last few games the performances have been brilliant.
"I'm happy to come away with Scotland every time I get a call-up because the atmosphere is brilliant."
