Crystal Palace remain keen on Everton midfielder James McCarthy.
The Daily Mail says Palace will revive their bid to sign McCarthy from Everton in January.
The Selhurst Park club had lined up a season-long loan for the Republic of Ireland international on deadline day and agreed to pay a £3million loan fee.
The deal fell apart though when Everton's bid to sign Moussa Sissoko from Newcastle collapsed.
McCarthy had been ready to travel to Palace only for Everton's Sissoko negotiations to founder with the player refusing to take Ronald Koeman's calls.
