Crystal Palace have rejected an offer from Middlesbrough for midfielder Ben Watson.

The 23-year old is in high demand at the moment but this latest rejection by Palace again puts doubt on his future with the players contract expiring this summer.

It is understood that 'Boro boss Gareth Southgate is keen to up the ante for Watson who is also being chased by Championship clubs Wolves and Queens Park Rangers.
