Crystal Palace are pushing to sign Liverpool striker Danny Ings.

The Daily Mail says Palace have stepped up their efforts to sign Ings.

The £20million-rated striker has a number of options, including Southampton, Newcastle and Leicester, but the Selhurst Park club have been in contact and are desperate to bring him to London.

The 25-year-old has had a wretched time with injury since joining the Reds from Burnley for £8m in 2015 which has restricted him to just 14 Premier League appearances over three seasons.

Although he still has two seasons left on his contract, he has reached an agreement with Jurgen Klopp that will allow him to leave in search of first-team football.
