Crystal Palace boss Ian Holloway is keen to sign William Gallas on a free transfer.
The Eagles are crying out for some Premier League experience and Holloway senses the available Gallas could dramatically help his backline.
The 36-year old French centre-back, formerly of Chelsea and Arsenal, was released by Tottenham at the end of last season and has been showing interest in a possible move to North America's MLS or the Middle East.
