Crystal Palace players confident beating the drop

Crystal Palace players are confident of beating the drop.

Palace's 2-0 win away to Huddersfield on Saturday sent the Eagles two points clear of the relegation zone with seven games of the season left to play.

"We will definitely stay up," striker Benteke told Sky Sports.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek revealed the belief within the Palace dressing room and admitted Wilfried Zaha's return from injury had given the team a big lift going forward.

"That was a massive win, it feels like every game is a massive game," Loftus-Cheek told Sky Sports. "That Huddersfield game was a massive three points.

"We need to climb the table - we believe in ourselves to keep on winning.

"Wilf is a big, massive improvement for the team, his one-on-one ability. He's a massive outlet when we're under pressure."
