James Tomkins is nearing a summer transfer from West Ham United to Crystal Palace.
Sky Sports reports that the 27-year-old defender will complete his move to Selhurst Park in the next 24 hours.
West Ham are due to fly out to the USA for their pre-season tour but Tomkins, who has been with the Hammers since 1997, will not travel with the squad as he get set to finalise his move from East to South London.
Tomkins signed a five-year deal with West Ham in February but is now on the verge of leaving his boyhood club to follow Alan Pardew's first two summer signings, Andros Townsend and Steve Mandanda, to Palace.
