Crystal Palace move for free agent Jedinak

Crystal Palace are moving for Australia midfielder Mile Jedinak.

The London Evening Standard says Palace are taking advantage of their Australian connection by lining up midfielder Mile Jedinak on a free transfer, after he was released by Turkish club Genclerbirligi.

Jedinak, who has won 26 caps for Australia and appeared against Germany in Australia's opening game of the 2010 World Cup, is on Palace's radar through Dougie Freedman's assistant Tony Popovic.

The former Aussie star has impressed on 27-year-old Jedinak how a move to English football could revitalise his career.
