Crystal Palace midfielder Yohan Cabaye says the players need to take responsibility for their current form.

Palace slumped to a fifth consecutive defeat when they lost 2-1 at home against Manchester City on Saturday and pressure is building on manager Alan Pardew.

Cabaye said: “We are under pressure. It is always easy to blame the manager but us players are on the pitch and are the first to blame. We have to keep working in the same way and I am sure we are going to get some points.

“We have to trust the manager. We are all in the same boat and have to take responsibilities as a player. We have to fight against Swansea because it is important to get some points."
