Crystal Palace midfielder Sulley Kaikai struck twice for Shrewsbury Town in their 4-2 victory over Colchester.
Shrewsbury were 2-0 down at halftime, but Kaikai's introduction for the start of the second-half sparked a stunning comeback.
Fellow second-half sub Tyrone Barnett also struck twice and manager Micky Mellon said afterwards: "You can’t underestimate their contribution - they’re two terrific lads and we know they’re well capable of that.
“We decided on the changes after about 37, 38 minutes so we pretty much knew what we were going to do at half-time.
“So the time to half-time seemed like an eternity as we waited to get them on. To see them make that impact was fantastic for the group.”
Kaikai tweeted last night:
Great comeback from the team today, massive 3 points. Happy to have got off the mark with 2 goals #GodIsGoodpic.twitter.com/HquPIBFCil
