Crystal Palace midfielder Sullay Kaikai is happy to have ended the season in the first team.

The 21-year-old came off the bench to make his second appearance in the Premier League on the final day at Manchester United on Sunday, although he was unable to help prevent the Eagles from losing 2-0.

"I played alright [at Old Trafford] – I could have done more, but I am ready to come back hungry for next season and prove a point," he told eagles.cpfc.co.uk.

"I am going to do some work over the offseason and come back fit.

"It has been a great learning experience for me, being involved in the squad and watching games from the bench. It is good experience and I have taken a lot from it."
