Crystal Palace midfielder James McArthur hailed their victory at Liverpool on Sunday.

The Scot was impressive in the 2-1 win.

"It was a great game to part of. At times Liverpool put pressure on the ball and they have quality all throughout the side to pass through," he told the Croydon Advertiser.

"I think the main thing, as a player – I don't what it looked like from the stands – but we always looked dangerous and looked like we were always going to score goals.

"I thought the two centre-backs were brilliant as well. Every time the ball came into the box they cleared it, they blocked it and they made tackles.

"A lot is done to them, and then you have the boys further up the pitch like Wilfried and Yannick causing Liverpool major problems.

"It was great to be part of that performance."
