Crystal Palace midfielder Jordan Mutch is keen to stay with loan club Reading.

Mutch joined the Royals on loan from Palace in January and made an instant impact, scoring on his debut for the Berkshire side in a 2-2 draw with Ipswich Town.

And the 25-year-old has told the Reading Chronicle he is keen to turn the loan deal, which runs until the end of the season, into a permanent switch.

He said: "I would definitely like to remain here beyond the end of the season, of course we will take it as it goes for now and see where we are at the end of the season.

"Lots can change between now and then but I wouldn't have come if I didn't see myself staying here."
