Crystal Palace midfielder James McArthur is interesting Burnley.
The Daily Mail says the 29-year-old Scotland international could become surplus to requirements under Frank de Boer as the Palace manager looks to change his midfield options.
But Burnley boss Sean Dyche is a big admirer and wants McArthur to bolster his side, wary that he could lose unsettled Belgium international Steven Defour also this summer.
They could face competition for the Scotland international however as Aston Villa have also made enquiries despite manager Steve Bruce also working on a deal to sign Stoke's Republic of Ireland international Glenn Whelan.
