Crystal Palace midfielder Chung-yong Lee is determined to win over manager Sam Allardyce.
The South Korean has not played for the Eagles for six weeks since the FA Cup fourth round tie against Manchester City.
"We have been playing well and won the last two games, so I am happy for the team and the new players will help us," he told the Croydon Advertiser.
"I am still hoping to be given a chance to help them more. It has been a difficult time for me, as I haven't been on the bench for the last five games or so.
"I need to keep fit, so that's why I wanted to stay behind and play for the U23 side (last week).
"I just need to focus to play every week, even if I just play in the second half. I need to keep concentrating, but it is not good for me not playing.
"I have two months left of the season. I want to play obviously, but I just want to show the manager in training that he can change his decision.
"I don't want to speak to the manager (again), I just him to pick me from what I show him in training. I just need to keep training and working hard and that's it."
