Crystal Palace are close to a deal for Bakary Sako.

Sky Sports says Sako is having a medical at Crystal Palace after agreeing personal terms with the Premier League club.

Earlier today, Alan Pardew says he hopes to complete one deal in the next 24 hours.

He said: “I'd like to think we'd get one done today. I know you've been pushing me on it but I'm not going to give you a name because I never do until they are completely done. If we can get him over the line he's an exciting player as well. I'll be looking forward to seeing him."
