American billionaire Josh Harris is in advanced takeover talks with Palace.
The Mail on Sunday says the new American investment in Crystal Palace could well see the club re-examine the idea of rebuilding the seemingly condemned nearby former national athletics stadium at Upper Norwood, rather than re-develop Selhurst Park.
