New Crystal Palace boss Frank de Boer has admitted he was impressed by the performances of Mamadou Sakho last season.
The Liverpool centre-half joined the Eagles halfway through the season after falling out with manager Jurgen Klopp.
Sakho was instrumental in guiding Palace to safety from relegation during his six-month loan spell.
And de Boer says he will consider the 27-year old, but not till after he has assessed his current squad.
"He was certainly impressive and important last season," said de Boer.
"I didn't meet the players yet, so I have to see them, of course.
"I have my ideas, maybe one or two signings that will be necessary. But first of all I want to see all the players here right now."
