Crystal Palace are hoping to sign AS Roma's Mattia Destro.

The Daily Mail reports that the Eagles have made enquiries about the 24-year old striker who continues to be linked with a summer exit from the Stadio Olimpico.

Destro, who spent the second half of last season on loan at AC Milan, is also a target for Monaco who have thrown up the idea of a potential player swap involving French left-back Layvin Kurzawa.

Palace boss Alan Pardew is on the lookout for a new attacker and is keen on eight-time Italy international Destro who has 41 goals in Serie A with Roma, Siena, Genoa and Milan.
