Crystal Palace have tabled a bid for Leicester City striker Chris Wood.
Palace boss Neil Warnock wants to bring the Kiwi targetman south and is confident of convincing Wood about the move.
Foxes manager Nigel Pearson is prepared to sell and Wood is set to travel south for talks this afternoon.
The striker came close to joining Championship club Wolves before the start of the season.
