Crystal Palace goalkeeper Julian Speroni hopes to still be with the club in retirement.
The 37 year-old has been with the club for 12 years and is on the verge of setting a new club record for the number of appearances by a goalkeeper, with Speroni currently level with John Jackson on 388.
"Eventually I will probably go into coaching, whether it is here or somewhere else," he told the Croydon Advertiser.
"I have played at this club and I would love to stay here for all my career and beyond. But I am not thinking about that as I am still thinking very much as a player.
"I feel that I still have got years ahead of me, so I am not worried about that right now.
"But I love football, it has been my life and I do want to stay involved."
