Crystal Palace are hoping they can swoop in ahead of Fulham to sign Ajax midfielder Eyong Enoh.
The 27-year old Cameroon international has emerged as a target for the Eagles with manager Ian Holloway looking to hijack Martin Jol's move for him.
Enoh spent some time on loan with Fulham last season but and would prefer to head back to Craven Cottage according to his agent who did confirm Palace have joined the race for his services.
"His first choice is Fulham and the Premier League," his representative Stephen Brandil told the Daily Mail.
"Crystal Palace initially tried to sign another player but they didn't manage to get him so now the interest has move to Eyong.
"I believe the two clubs are in talks."
