Crystal Palace are keen to bring former star Chris Coleman back to the club as manager.
After news earlier this week that the Eagles avoided liquidation, the club has now teed up Coleman to lead the club next season but he will face competition from another ex-player Dougie Freedman who assisted under Paul Hart last season.
Coleman has previous managerial experience with Fulham and Coventry City and his Selhurst Park ties make him an ideal candidate as negotiations regarding the position get under way.
