According to France Football, Crystal Palace have made an enquiry for Montpellier's Daniel Congre.

The French defender will have just one year left on his contract in the summer and it is expected that his club would like to cash in on him at the end of the season.

The 30-year old has already attracted interest from other clubs, including Serie A club Torino and Palace's Premier League rivals West Ham United.

It is believed that a bid of around £1.5m will persuade Montpellier to part with Congre.
