Crystal Palace are determined to tie Yannick Bolasie down to a new contract.
The 24-year old French-born DR Congo winger has a year remaining on his current Selhurst Park deal but the Eagles have been mightily impressed with his performances this season and want to extend his stay.
Bolasie, who arrived in south London from Bristol City in 2012, recently wrote on his blog for Givemesport.com that he was intending to remain with Palace after settling well with the club.
"There's been a lot of speculation recently regarding my future but I am just letting my agent deal with contract talks," he wrote.
"The most important thing to say is I want to stay at Crystal Palace beyond my current deal which runs out next summer.
"I feel at home here so why would I want to go anywhere else? My aim for next season is to finally score a Premier League goal at Selhurst Park!"
