Former Inter Milan boss Frank de Boer is in talks with Crystal Palace.

Sky Sports says De Boer could become Sam Allardyce's successor at Palace.

Following his iconic playing career, which saw him play for Barcelona, the 47-year-old has gone on to manage Ajax and Inter Milan.

The star, who came through at Ajax as a player, also began his coaching career at the Amsterdam Arena as he was appointed into a role within the club's academy.

De Boer left Inter this season following a run of four defeats – leaving them in 12th place in Serie A – after they also finished bottom of their group in the Europa League
