Crystal Palace hero Morrison: Zaha right to complain

Crystal Palace hero Clinton Morrison says Wilfried Zaha is right to complain about the lack of protection he's received from match officials.

The 25-year-old Eagles flyer claims he feels as if he has to get his “leg broken for anyone to get a card" and Morrison is in total agreement.

He told The Sun: “Wilf is 100 per cent right to complain, I've been to most of the Palace games this season and I can see why he is getting frustrated.

“The challenge on him at Watford was disgusting, the player raked his boot down the back of his calf and could have seriously injured him.

“I can see Wilf's frustration and I understand why he wants more protection from referees.

“But he has to realise he is one of the best players around so he will get special treatment, but he does need more protection as you don't want the top players targeted like that and picking up bad injuries."
