Crystal Palace may be close to signing Ajax defender Kenny Tete.

The right-back has been left out of Ajax's 25-man squad for their preseason tour of Austria next week.

It has been reported that new Eagles boss Frank de Boer had been close to signing Tete's teammate, Joel Veltman.

However, it now appears that the 21-year old, who has been capped six times by the Netherlands, could be on his way to Selhurst Park.
