Crystal Palace are favourites to sign Ajax defender Jairo Riedewald.

Riedewald has rejected a new contract offer and is ready to leave Ajax this summer.

Everton had been linked with the youngster this week, however Palace are now understood to be a step away from signing him.

Palace are said to have had a €10m offer accepted by Ajax.

New Palace boss Frank de Boer worked with Riedewald as Ajax coach and is eager to bring him to London for the new season.
