Crystal Palace are fighting to keep hold of Yohan Cabaye.
The Mirror says Palace will learn this week if they have fought off Marseille to keep Cabaye.
The French midfielder has been offered a return home with Ligue 1 club Marseille.
But Cabaye, 32, is also weighing up a new two-year deal to remain at Selhurst Park.
Cabaye - whose pay will be slashed to £45,000-a-week at Palace - has been set a deadline by Roy Hodgson to decide his future.
Goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey faces a similar scenario after being offered a new deal on reduced terms.
