Crystal Palace are eyeing Liverpool striker Christian Benteke.

The Croydon Advertiser says Palace could be set to launch a club record swoop for Liverpool striker Benteke.

The former Aston Villa forward is understood to be wanted by West Ham United and Juventus, with reports suggesting that Liverpool are willing to sell the Belgian at the right price, which could be in the region of £19m.

Benteke joined the Anfield outfit for a fee believed to be in the region of £32.5m last summer, but after ten goals in 42 appearances for Liverpool, it is being reported that he could be sold this summer, with Benteke himself reportedly admitting that he would leave if he was not guaranteed first team football.
