Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew has claimed that his side was extremely unlucky to have not claimed all three points from their clash with Sunderland on Tuesday.
The Eagles looked on course to win the game after Connor Wickham's second-half brace, but the Black Cats scored a last-minute equaliser through Fabio Borini to claim a 2-2 draw at the Stadium of Light.
"They [Sunderland] took the lead, and they've been on a roll, so to come back and get ourselves in front like that was phenomenal," said Pardew.
"We really played well second half and they're fortunate to get a draw."
The Eagles have now gone 11 league games without a win, but Pardew remains confident that his side can recapture their form.
"We've won games this year but it's been strange because they've all come in the cup against Premier League opposition, and again we showed we're good enough to win games in this division," added Pardew.
"We were desperately unlucky tonight in my opinion."
