Crystal Palace are not interested in hiring former Watford manager Walter Mazzarri, according to the Croydon Advertiser.
The Hornets sacked the Italian last month after leading Watford to a 17th placed finish, one spot above the relegation zone.
The Watford Observer had reported that Mazzarri and his representatives had discussions with the Eagles about taking over at Selhurst Park.
However, the Advertiser claims that Palace have not followed up after their initial conversation.
Burnley boss Sean Dyche and former Three Lions manager Roy Hodgson are the bookies favourites to take the job.
