Crystal Palace defender Scott Dann has a good feeling about the club's new investors.
The centre-back was plying his trade at Birmingham City and Blackburn Rovers when new owners arrived, but they didn't reach their potential and instead went the wrong way.
"I think the deal can only be good for the club as a whole," he told the Croydon Advertiser.
"Whether it's just to make the stadium bigger, better, to improve other things and maybe improve the team and give the manager more money to spend.
"I don't know the ins and outs, but it shows it's another step in the right direction and with the chairman and the way he goes about his business, that he's brought the right people in.
"The chairman, since he took over, the club have gone from strength to strength. He's made a lot of good decisions and I think he would have thought it through thoroughly.
"You look at other teams who have had takeovers and it hasn't worked out. I have been at two, Birmingham and Blackburn.
"You think it's all going to go well and it doesn't but I feel this is different. The chairman knows what he's doing and it can only be good for Palace."
