Crystal Palace defender Jaïro Riedewald admits his move from Ajax has been a disaster.
Riedewald was signed by Palace on recommendation of his former Ajax coach Frank de Boer and finds himself isolated after the Dutchman's sacking.
"Incredibly sorry that it has run out of this way. After four matches. Apparently it happens in the football world. The match against Burnley we had so much bad luck. Not normal. We went back to London on the train, the next day the trainer was fired ... very crazy," he told AD.
"A shock? That's a big word. Of course I chose because of De Boer at Crystal Palace. But also because the Premier League is the most beautiful and greatest league for me."
