Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha enjoyed his battle with West Brom fullback Chris Brunt yesterday.

Zaha gave makeshift full back Brunt nightmares as Palace won for only the second time at home this season with goals from Yannick Bolasie and Yohan Cabaye.

The second was a penalty won by Zaha after Brunt dived in on him in the box. It put the game well out of woeful West Brom's reach.

Zaha said: "I think during the game he pulled me once and after that we had a little argument. Then I elbowed him on his nose - accidentally. He knew I did it by accident. I said sorry to him.

"Eventually if you keep going at someone you're going to get a chance. I just thought I'd carry on and see how it goes."
