Crystal Palace are attempting to close a deal for Derby County fullback Dean Moxey.

The Daily Mail says Moxey is set to join Crystal Palace in a £500,000 move, making County a £150,000 profit since buying him from Exeter 18 months ago.

Moxey began his career as a trainee with Exeter City, joining the club at the age of 11. He was a turnstile operator at St James Park on the day in 2003 when the club were relegated from the Football League.

The 25 year-old can as left-back and left-wing.
