Crystal Palace are chasing Montpellier defender Daniel Congre.
The Croydon Advertiser says Congre has reportedly been formally approached by Crystal Palace in regards to a transfer this summer.
Sources in France suggest Congre, 30, could be available for a cut-price deal of just £1.4m.
The stopper is currently mulling over a contract extension from the Ligue 1 outfit.
