Crystal Palace captain Scott Dann collected a hamstring in their EFL Cup clash with Southampton.

After just 17 minutes of action, Dann pulled up on the pitch clutching his hamstring and was subsequently replaced by Martin Kelly a minute later.

Palace, however, appeared optimistic that the defender's injury is not serious after they tweeted:

"He pulled up holding his hamstring after a Southampton attack. Walked off the pitch unaided though, so hopefully not serious!".
